Special Statement
Statement as of 2:48 PM CST on March 04, 2015

... Very cold temperatures tonight into early Thursday morning... then
a warming trend for the weekend...

Arctic air will settle over the area tonight with low
temperatures dipping into the single digits and teens below zero.
Northwest winds of 5 to 10 mph will combine with these
temperatures to produce wind chills in the minus 15 to minus 25
degree range. Wind chills around 25 below zero can produce
frostbite within 30 minutes. If venturing out early Thursday
morning... be sure to bundle up appropriately.

Moderating temperatures will then be seen Friday and into the
weekend. Look for highs Friday in the 30s... with some locations
approaching 40 degrees Saturday and Sunday.
