A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Wednesday afternoon through Friday afternoon. * Snow... freezing rain and sleet should advance into much of northeast Iowa and adjacent parts of southeast Minnesota and southwest Wisconsin Wednesday afternoon. * Precipitation will transition back and forth between snow freezing rain from Wednesday afternoon through Christmas. * Although details of snow and ice amounts remain uncertain... it appears highest snowfall accumulations should be along and west of a line from Charles City Iowa to La Crosse to Neillsville Wisconsin. * Snow and ice accumulations are expected to cause hazardous travel from Wednesday afternoon through Friday.
