* Freezing drizzle will continue tonight and then change freezing rain mixed at timew with sleet and snow Wednesday and Wednesday night. More snow is expected Thursday night into Friday.
* Snow and sleet amounts of an inch or less are expected on Wednesday. Another 2 to 5 inches of snow is possible Thursday night into Friday.
* Ice accumulations of one quarter inch or less is possible Wednesday and Wednesday night.
* Hazardous driving conditions are expected due to ice accumulations tonight through Wednesday night. The snowfall Thursday into Friday will also impact travel conditons.

... Slippery driving conditions tonight...
Patches of freezing drizzle... light freezing rain and sleet continued over the area this evening. The freezing precipitation was causing icy spots on some area roads. Reports of ice covered secondary roads have been recently received from Buchanan County. Earlier this evening icy roads were reported in Linn and Scott counties.
The spotty freezing drizzle... freezing rain and sleet mix will continue through the night.
If you will be out driving tonight be prepared for icy conditions. Road surfaces may change from wet to ice covered within a short distance.
