A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 PM CST this evening. * Snow will continue through the overnight hours. Some sleet or freezing rain may mix in at times. The snow may be heavy at times later tonight. Snow will continue through Christmas day. * Additional snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches are expected before the storm ends. Only a trace of additional ice accumulations are expected through Friday. * Hazardous travel conditions are expected through Christmas day due to snow and ice accumulations. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow... sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
