At 247 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the southern advisory
area. Doppler radar estimated anywhere between two and three inches
of rain has fallen in the advisory... with local amounts of four
inches possible.
Slow moving thunderstorms are continuing to produce very heavy
rainfall from around Forest City toward Manly. Runoff from this
rain... as well as heavy rain that fell earlier in the night... will
cause minor flooding to occur. Some locations that will experience
flooding include... Bancroft... Buffalo Center... Forest City... Lake
Mills... Manly... Northwood... Burt... Crystal
Lake... Fertile... Hanlontown... Joice... Kensett... Lakota... Ledyard... le

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause minor flooding of
small creeks and streams... country roads... as well as farmland along
the banks of creeks and streams.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. Do not drive through areas where water covers
the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to
cross safely.
