The Flood Warning continues for the Iowa river at Marengo. * Until further notice. * At 10:00 am Saturday the stage was 15.4 feet... and steady. * Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 14 feet. * Forecast... due to potential heavy rainfall tonight and Sunday... the river is forecast to rise to 17.7 feet Wednesday morning... then begin falling. * Impact... at 16 feet... water affects agricultural land along the river. Water is several feet deep in places.

* From 10 PM CDT this evening through Sunday afternoon
* 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected tonight through Sunday morning. Locally higher amounts are possible. This could bring renewed river flooding... and possibly isolated flash flooding to the watch area.

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 2 am to 6 PM CDT Sunday.
.Northeast winds are expected to increase after midnight and reach sustained speeds of 25 to 35 mph. Winds gusts of 45 to 50 mph will be possible. The wind will become more northerly by Sunday morning and shift to the northwest by Sunday afternoon.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 mph or greater are expected... which can make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution if you are traveling.
