The Flood Warning continues for the Wapsipinicon River near De Witt. * Until Wednesday evening. * At 8:00 am Saturday the stage was 12.8 feet... and steady. * Flood stage is 11 feet. * Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue. * Recent activity... the river is nearing crest again. * Forecast... rise to 12.8 feet today. Fall below flood stage Wednesday evening. * Impact... at 12 feet... water affects old U.S. Highway 61 near the river and affects an establishment near the old U.S. Highway 61 bridge.
