... Dense fog advisory in effect from 2 am to 8 am CDT Monday...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect from 2 am to 8 am CDT Monday.

* Visibilities... as low as 100 feet to a quarter mile

* timing... developing after midnight and continuing through the
early morning commute. Visibilities improving after 8 am.

* Impacts... travel will be difficult and potentially dangerous
with very limited sight distance between vehicles and other
objects.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
