Scattered showers will exit eastern Iowa through 300 am or 400 am...however stronger thunderstorms may enter the area after that from 400 am through 600 am. Several of the storms may contain locally heavy rains producing an inch or more per hour resulting in very low visibilities...ponding water on roads...and rapid rises in small streams and creeks. Some of the storms may also become severe with up to nickel sized hail and wind gusts to 60 mph. Frequent lightning will accompany some storms as well.
