* A mix of rain and snow will spread over the area late this evening. The mixed precipitation should change to all snow within a short time after the precipitation begins... with snow expected to persist through Saturday morning.
* Snowfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected by noon Saturday.
* Most of the snow accumulations will be on grassy areas due to the warm ground temperatures. However heavier bursts of snow late tonight and early Saturday morning will accumulate fast enough to cause roads... especially bridges and overpasses... to become snow covered and slippery.

Fall below flood stage Wednesday. * Impact... at 12 feet... water affects old U.S. Highway 61 near the river and affects an establishment near the old U.S. Highway 61 bridge.
