... High surf advisory remains in effect until 6 am chst
Wednesday...
... High surf warning has expired...

* waves and surf... on Guam... surf on east facing reefs is between
11 and 13 feet. Surf on south facing reefs is between 8 and 12 feet.

* Timing... surf will begin to subside tonight... but remain
hazardous. Surf should eventually subside below hazardous levels
on Wednesday.

* Impacts... the surf will create a high risk of rip currents
along east and south facing reefs of the marianas. Minor
coastal inundation of around 1 foot is possible along with
some localized beach erosion.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high surf advisory means that hazardous surf of at least 9 feet
will affect exposed reefs and beaches. Stay away from exposed
reefs and beaches... especially those along east and south facing
reefs.

A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area... producing rip currents and localized beach
erosion.
