... High surf advisory remains in effect until 6 PM chst this
evening...

Hazardous surf of 8 to 10 feet along north facing shores is
expected today. Surf will begin to subside this afternoon and is
expected to fall below hazardous levels by this evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Avoid venturing near exposed reefs and beaches... especially those
facing north... as rip currents will be life threatening.
