High Surf Advisory
Statement as of 4:39 PM GMT on July 08, 2015

... High surf advisory remains in effect until 6 PM chst Friday...

* expect hazardous surf to build between 9 and 12 feet by Thursday
along north facing reefs for Guam and Rota. Hazardous surf of 9
to 12 feet could develop along the east facing reefs on
Thursday. Surf will fall below hazardous levels along south
facing reefs on Thursday... but remain hazardous along west
facing reefs. Surf will gradually fall beginning early Friday as
Typhoon Nangka begins to move away from the marianas. However...
hazardous surf will persist at least through Friday afternoon.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Avoid venturing near exposed reefs and beaches... especially those
facing South... West and north... as rip currents will be life
threatening.
