National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated rain...showers and possibly a thunderstorm or two over north Georgia moving south southeast at 15 to 20 miles an hour. Most of this activity was over Fannin...Union...Lumpkin and northern Hall counties. The heaviest rainfall was located over northern Hall County near Clermont. This pattern will continue across the area at least through 215 PM EDT. Some dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning along with heavy rainfall can be expected near areas with the thunderstorms.
