A red flag warning remains in effect until 8 PM EDT this evening
for the area generally south and west of a line from Franklin to
Griffin to Milledgeville to Vidalia.

This warning includes a portion of of the Oconee National Forest.

Relative humidities of 20 to 25 percent and east winds less than
10 mph will combine with dry fuel moistures to create dangerous
fire weather conditions.

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring... or will occur within 24 hours.

Please refer to the local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn outdoors. If you do burn outside... use extreme
caution.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this red flag warning.
