	Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 4:47 PM EDT on July 09, 2009 The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued an * urban and small stream flood advisory for minor flooding of poor drainage areas in... northern Nassau County in northeast Florida... southwestern Camden County in southeast Georgia... this includes the city of Kingsland... * until 615 PM EDT * at 444 PM EDT Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a large area of thunderstorms producing very heavy rain from Kings Ferry to Kingsland. Doppler radar has estimated 1 to 3 inches of rainfall with additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches possible in the advisory area. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause elevated levels on small creeks and streams... and ponding of water on country roads and farmland along the banks of creeks and streams. Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground. Remember... turn around dont drown.
