Statement as of 4:40 PM EST on November 14, 2009
... Flood Warning extended until Thursday morning... the Flood Warning
continues for
the Oconee river near Dublin
* until Thursday morning.
* At 4 PM EST Saturday the stage was 22.0 feet... and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast
to continue into early next week.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet. Moderate flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 24.7 feet by Monday
morning... just below moderate flood stage. The river is expected
to fall below flood stage early Thursday morning.
* At 25.0 feet... moderate flooding begins. A few homes begin to
experience flooding. Flood waters spread further into Woodlands and
fields near the river.
