Forecast flooding increased from minor to moderate severity... the Flood Warning continues for the middle Oconee river near Arcade * until Thursday evening. * At 5 PM EST Wednesday the stage was 19.9 feet... and rising. * Minor flooding is occurring. Moderate flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 16.0 feet. Moderate flood stage is 21.0 feet. * The river will continue rising to near 21.5 feet after midnight tonight... and remain above flood stage until late Thursday. * At 21.0 feet... moderate flooding begins. Flooding of residential yards... low areas... and access roads begins. |

The following are some rainfall totals that occurred 9-11 November as heavy rains spread northward from the remnants of Tropical Storm Ida as the storm tracked eastward along the Florida Panhandle and extreme south Georgia. These are rainfall totals from the Ida heavy rain event that occurred between 1 PM Monday, November 9, 2009 through 1 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
