The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has continued the Wind Advisory... which is in effect until 7 am EST Wednesday for north and central Georgia.
A strong pressure gradient will continue over the area due to the remnants of Ida and strong high pressure over the western Atlantic. Winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 40 can be expected through the day. Additionally... with wet ground conditions across the area... it will not take very strong winds for trees to begin to fall.
