A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST this evening... for all of north and central Georgia.
A strong pressure gradient will continue over the area due to the remnants of Ida and strong high pressure over the Great Lakes area. Winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 40 can be expected to continue through this evening. Additionally... with wet ground conditions across the area... it will not take very strong winds for trees to begin to fall.
