Flood Warning
Statement as of 10:32 PM EST on November 11, 2009
The Flood Warning continues for
the Chattahoochee River near Campbellton
* until further notice.
* At 9 PM EST Wednesday the stage was 21.5 feet... and nearly steady.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast to continue
* flood stage is 20.0 feet.
1032 PM EST Wed Nov 11 2009
... Flood Warning extended until Friday afternoon... the Flood Warning
continues for
the Big Creek near Alpharetta
* until Friday afternoon.
* At 10 PM EST Wednesday the stage was 11.0 feet... and near steady.
* Moderate flooding is occurring. Moderate flooding is forecast to
continue overnight.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet. Moderate flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* At 12.0 feet... major flooding begins. Bridge along Kimball bridge
Road is overtopped resulting in closure of Kimball bridge Road.
Flooding of homes begins along and near Big Creek from Cumming in
Forsyth County to Alpharetta and Roswell in Fulton County.
