The Flood Warning continues for
the Altamaha river at Everett city.
* From this afternoon until further notice... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 8:15 am Thursday the stage was 12.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to
rise to near 13.0 feet by Sunday evening.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... water begins to encroach upon Altamaha Park
Road and Pennick Road. Portions of Altamaha Park become inundated.
* Impact... at 12.0 feet... agricultural and Timber lands flooded. Water
begins to encroach upon Altamaha Park.

... Frost and light freeze products have resumed for southeast
Georgia...

The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has resumed the
frost and freeze program for southeast Georgia as of March 1.
Thus... frost advisories... freeze watches and freeze warnings will
be issued as needed according to the following criteria...

... Frost advisory...
widespread frost is expected to occur... usually within 12 to 24
hours.

... Freeze watch...
low temperatures of 32 degrees or lower expected... usually within
12 to 48 hours.

... Freeze warning...
low temperatures of 32 degrees or lower expected... usually within
12 to 24 hours.

Freeze watches/warnings or frost advisories may be required for
much of inland southeast Georgia during the overnight hours Friday
night into Saturday morning... as low temperatures are currently
forecast to fall to the 30-35 degree range.
