The Flood Warning continues for the Altamaha river at Everett city. * From Saturday evening until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled. * At 9:15 PM Thursday the stage was 11.5 feet. * Minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 12.0 feet. * Forecast...rise above flood stage by Saturday evening and continue to rise to near 12.3 feet by Sunday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter. * Impact...at 12.0 feet...agricultural and Timber lands flooded. Water begins to encroach upon Altamaha Park. * Impact...at 10.0 feet...river begins coming out of channel banks inundating low lying bottomlands.

The Flood Warning continues for the Altamaha river at Baxley. * Until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled. * At 9:45 PM Thursday the stage was 75.9 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 74.5 feet. * Forecast...the river will continue rising to near 77.5 feet by Tuesday evening. Additional rises may be possible thereafter. * Impact...at 74.5 feet...minor flooding of Timber and agricultural land can be expected.

* From noon EDT today through late tonight

* widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected... with isolated amounts up to 6 inches possible in southeast Georgia.
