... Freeze watch remains in effect from late tonight through
* temperatures... Friday morning lows will be in the upper 20s
far inland to lower 30s closer to the coast. A freeze on the
immediate coast is not anticipated however frost could
develop. Sensitive vegetation that has already sprouted could
be damaged if not protected.

... Fire Danger Statement in effect from 10 am EDT this morning
through this afternoon...
Relative humidity values are expected to drop below 25 percent by
late morning and reach minimum values by the mid afternoon. Winds
will be strongest from the morning through the early afternoon... with
sustained northwest winds around 15 mph and gusts to around 25 mph.
Winds will then decrease as the afternoon progresses. Though conditions
are not expected to meet red flag warning criteria... the combination
of low humidity and elevated winds will result in an increased
fire danger across southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia.
Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether
you can burn. If you do burn... you are advised to use extreme
