Tomorrow is forecast to be nearly the same temperature as today.
Nowcast as of 6:12 PM EDT on July 10, 2009
Now
Well defined outflow boundary is charging southward across southern Brevard and Osceola counties with a large area of rain with embedded storms behind it across lake...Volusia...Seminole and Orange counties. Meanwhile...isolated strong storms are developing along the inland-moving East Coast sea breeze across Indian River...Saint Lucie...Martin and Okeechobee counties. These storms will increase in coverage and intensity as the outflow boundary intersects storms and their outflows. The primary threat will be frequent to excessive cloud to ground lightning. A few storms may become severe with large hail and damaging downburst winds. Whenever there are multiple boundary collisions...there is the chance of a small brief tornado. Storm movement should show more purpose toward the east or northeast across the southern counties. Still...torrential downpours will produce a quick one to two inches of rain causing temporary flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas. Total rain accumulations around 3 inches will be possible in spots.
Considerable cloudiness with numerous thunderstorms and showers before sunset...then scattered showers and thunderstorms until around midnight. Some storms may produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall through sunset. Lows in the lower 70s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
Saturday
Partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms through late morning...then partly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s. Northeast winds around 5 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Chance of rain 60 percent.
Partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms through late evening. Lows around 70. East winds around 5 mph until around midnight becoming light. Chance of rain 20 percent.
