This line extends from Jupiter in coastal Palm Beach County to Fortymile Bend in Miami-Dade County. Expect periods of moderate to heavy rainfall, gusty winds and occasional cloud to ground lightning as this line moves through at around 35 mph.

... Strong thunderstorms moving across eastern Palm Beach County...
At 1049 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 4 miles northwest of
Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge to 7 miles northeast of mile
marker 30 on Alligator alley... moving east at 20 mph.
These storms will affect...
Wellington...
Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge...
Aberdeen...
Greenacres City...
Atlantis...
Palm Springs...
And surrounding communities.
The primary impacts will be frequent lightning and gusty winds of 40
to 50 mph... which can down small tree limbs and branches... and blow
around unsecured small objects. Lightning is the number one weather
related killer in Florida. Trees and open shelters offer no
protection. Seek shelter in a safe building until the storm passes.
