continues for the Anclote River at Elfers.
* Until Friday morning
* at 09 am Wednesday the stage was 21.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river is expected to fall below flood stage by early Friday
morning.
* Impact... at 22.0 feet... there is water over the roadway along
the Elfers Parkway.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 21.6
feet on Mar 14 2010.

* at 09 am Wednesday the stage was 8.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 8 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 8.9 feet by this evening
then begin falling.
* Impact... at 8 feet... flooding begins at the Recreation Area on
State Road 54.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 8.8
feet on Sep 30 2013.

... Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of FL and west central Florida... including the
following in FL... coastal ... Hillsborough... coastal Pasco...
inland Hillsborough and inland Pasco. In west central
Florida... Pinellas.

* Through this evening

* if possible... clear drainage systems of any debris which may
become clogged in flooding rains.

* Saturated soils and the potential for additional heavy rainfall
through today will continue the threat of flooding for coastal
counties from Hernando southward to Lee.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means that flooding is possible during the next
24 to 36 hours. Residents living in flood prone areas should take
action to protect property.
