A band of strong thunderstorms continued over the Florida interior from near Arcadia to Sebring and Avon Park...and then up through areas around Frostproof. A few other storms were near Brandon...Fort Myers and Estero. Expect heavy rain...strong gusty winds...and frequent lightning. The storms were moving south at 5 to 10 mph. The strongest storms will affect Highlands County from now through 6 PM.
