Isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue to slowly develop through late afternoon across the Lake Okeechobee region and along the Gulf Coast. The greatest concentration of showers will likely be near the Eastern Shore of Lake Okeechobee...where the East Coast sea breeze will merge with light onshore flow from the lake. Any storms that do form may remain nearly stationary...so locally heavy rainfall is possible along with gusty winds to near 25mph, and a few lightning strikes.
