Through 9 PM...numerous showers and thunderstorms...the result of a sea breeze collision across lake...western Orange...and western Osceola counties continues to dump very heavy rainfall. The storms extend from emeralda in Lake County south across the Orlando theme Parks and through western Osceola and western Okeechobee counties. Shower and lightning storm activity should diminish through mid to late evening. Movement is expected to be slow and erratic. The main threats will be strong wind gusts 40 to 50 mph...frequent cloud to ground lightning...small hail and locally heavy rainfall. The slow movement of storms will allow for heavy rainfall and possible localized flooding of streets and low-lying areas. A funnel cloud to two cannot be ruled out as well. If you plan to be outside this evening always plan ahead to reach a secure shelter if a storm approaches your areas.
