scattered storms with some intense rainfall... Through 7 PM...scattered showers and lightning storms will continue to develop across east central Florida into early evening. Movement will be toward the south or southeast at 10 to 15 mph. Outflow boundaries from the initial convection over Osceola County are propagating outward in all directions so additional storms can be expected across Orange...Seminole...Lake and Volusia counties. Additional storms will develop across Indian River...Saint Lucie and Okeechobee counties. A few of these storms could become strong with gusty downburst winds and frequent dangerous lightning strikes. Intense rainfall in some of the storms will produce a quick one half to one inch of rain...possibly causing temporary flooding of some roads and poor drainage areas.
