Showers moving eastward across the local Gulf waters will continue to pass across the coastal zone of Collier and Mainland Monroe counties...including the Naples Metro area. Additional showers will develop and move eastward across the remainder of Collier and Mainland and Monroe counties and across Glades and Hendry counties. A few showers will also pass across Lake Okeechobee. These showers will move eastward near 15 mph and produce occasional downpours and gusty winds near 30 mph with an isolated lightning strike possible.
Cloudy. Showers likely and slight chance of thunderstorms... then chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 80s. Southwest winds up to 5 mph becoming west 10 to 15 mph later in the afternoon. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Monday November 9, the minimum temperature recorded at Miami International Airport was 79 degrees. This broke the previous record of 78 degrees last set on that date in 1980. This also tied the warmest high minimum temperature of 79 degrees for the month of November.
