Through 730 PM...widely scattered showers and thunderstorms continue across east central Florida late this afternoon. The east and West Coast sea breeze boundaries continue to move inland with a likely collision location around western Orange...Lake and northwestern Osceola counties. This collision along with subsequent mesoscale boundary interactions will keep scattered to numerous shower and lightning storm activity going into the evening hours over the interior. Movement is expected to be slow and erratic. The main threats will be strong wind gusts 40 to 50 mph...frequent cloud to ground lightning...small hail and locally heavy rainfall. The slow movement of storms will allow for heavy rainfall and possible localized flooding of streets and low-lying areas. If you plan to be outside late this afternoon and evening...always plan ahead to reach a secure shelter if a storm approaches your areas.
