the Horse Creek near Arcadia.
* Until Wednesday morning.
* At 06 PM Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 13.9 feet by after midnight tomorrow.
The river is expected to fall below flood stage Wednesday morning.
* Impact... at 14 feet... buildings in Hidden Acres flood.
* Impact... at 12 feet... the access Road to Hidden Acres is impassable.
* Impact... at 11 feet... secondary roads in Hidden Acres and Royal Palm begin
to flood.
* Impact... at 10.5 feet... two homes become isolated.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Peace River at Arcadia
* until further notice.
* At 06 PM Saturday the stage was 11.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 11 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 12.5 feet by Tuesday morning then begin
falling.
* Impact... at 13 feet... Peace River estates floods affecting several dozen
homes.
* Impact... at 12 feet... the girl scout Camp floods.
* Impact... at 11 feet... access roads to River Acres become flooded.
* Impact... at 10 feet... 3 to 4 homes in the River Acres subdivision flood and
the lowest portion of the girl scout Camp floods.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 11.1 feet on Jul 30
2013.

The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay area - Ruskin FL has
issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of FL and Florida... including the
following in FL... coastal ... Charlotte... coastal Hernando...
coastal Hillsborough... coastal Lee... coastal Manatee... coastal
Pasco... coastal Sarasota... inland Charlotte... inland
Hernando... inland Hillsborough... inland Lee... inland Manatee...
   inland Pasco and inland Sarasota. In Florida... DeSoto...
Hardee... Highlands... Pinellas and Polk.

* From Sunday morning through Monday evening

* deep tropical moisture over the region combined with the
tropical moisture from the remnants of Erika currently over
central Cuba will create a threat for very heavy rainfall across
west central and southwest Florida through Monday. 3 to 5 inches
of rain with locally higher amounts is possible.

* Heavy rain may create significant flooding of streets... urban
areas... and low lying flood prone areas. Additional river
flooding may develop across west central Florida... and flooding
will likely be exacerbated on rivers currently in flood.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means that flooding is possible during the next
24 to 36 hours. Residents living in flood prone areas should take
action to protect property.
