* at 9am Tuesday the stage was 10.2 feet
* no flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast
* flood stage is 17.0 feet
* forecast to rise above flood stage by tomorrow afternoon and continue to rise
to near 17.2 feet by early Thursday morning. The river will fall below flood
stage by Friday morning.

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until 6 PM CST this evening.

Strong winds of 25 to 35 mph... along with occasional gusts to around
40 mph will continue through today as Tropical Depression Ida moves
eastward.
