Isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop along the coastal sections of southwest Alabama and northwest Florida...as well as the near shore waters through the course of the afternoon. Any thunderstorms that develop will be capable of heavy downpours... brief gusty winds...and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. If outside and you hear thunder...go inside until the storm passes. If you can hear thunder...you are close enough to be struck by lightning. The isolated shower and thunderstorm activity will generally move to the southwest at 10 mph.
