Urban Flood Advisory in effect for Metro Miami-Dade south of Coral reef drive... through 12 noon EST...strong thunderstorms producing wind gusts in excess of 34 knots and very heavy rains will continue across the Atlantic coastal waters of Mainland Southeast Florida. The strongest thunderstorms will be from 15 to 35 miles offshore the barrier islands. Over the Metro areas of Broward and Miami-Dade, rainfall will be slackening except extreme South Miami-Dade between Key Largo and Homestead where new thunderstorms will continue to move across Card Sound Road and the 18 mile stretch of federal Highway into the Homestead and Florida City areas. All activity will be moving northeast at about 15 knots.
