Nowcast | as of 5:20 PM EDT on August 29, 2014

Boundary collisions occurring over the interior this afternoon have led to scattered showers and storms across much of the I-4 corridor. Storms with locally heavy rain...frequent lightning...and gusty winds to 50 mph will be possible across this region through the early evening hours. Outflow boundaries from this activity will spark new storms further east across central and eastern Osceola...as well as Brevard...Indian River...and southeast Volusia counties over the next two hours. Individual storm motion will be slow and erratic...but the trend will be for most showers and storms to move slowly to the northeast.
