Nowcast | as of 3:30 PM EDT on September 2, 2014

a few storms still possible inland...while some showers could move back onshore... Through 600 PM...the best chance for some scattered showers and a few storms will be from Orlando and Kissimmee Saint Cloud westward across Southern Lake County...and from around Lake Okeechobee to Lake Kissimmee. Some heavy downpours and occasional cloud to ground lightning strikes are likely as the activity moves west at 15 mph. Brief wind gusts to 30 or 40 mph are also possible. A few bands of scattered showers over the Atlantic will also move west at around 15 mph. While much of this activity continues to weaken...a few showers could reach the coast south of Sebastian Inlet. A better chance for showers to move onshore will be after sunset as subsidence near the coast behind the sea breeze weakens ND conditions become more unstable out over the water.
