	Areal Flood Watch
Statement as of 5:00 AM EDT on July 09, 2009 ... Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening... The Flood Watch continues for * a portion of west central Florida... including the following areas... Citrus and Levy. * Through this evening * showers and thunderstorms will move across the northern Nature Coast today with locally heavy rainfall expected. Widespread rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are anticipated... with locally higher amounts of 3 to 5 inches possible. This is on top of the widespread 1 to 2 inches of rain that fell on Wednesday. Flooding of streets and urban areas is likely. Significant rises of creeks and streams is also possible. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Flood Watch means that flooding is possible during the next 24 to 36 hours. Residents living in flood prone areas should take action to protect property.
