Through 3 PM...afternoon showers and thunderstorms had moved into the coastal waters between 20 and 60 nm offshore west of Cedar Key to west of Clearwater. Also, showers and thunderstorms were developing closely along the sea breeze coastline near Suwanee, and from Homosassa Springs to Clearwater. Movement was slowly east. Gusty winds, dangerous lightning, and periods of heavy rainfall can be expected with the stronger storms.
