Through 4 PM EST...strong thunderstorms will continue over the far offshore Atlantic coastal waters from 20 to over 60 miles offshore Broward and Dade counties. The strongest thunderstorms will be in a Lane from Bimini northeast toward Grand Bahama Island. Elsewhere, isolated showers and thunderstorms will be moving from Florida Bay across extreme southwest Miami-Dade County east of Flamingo affecting parts of Everglades National Park and eventually the 18 mile stretch of federal Highway and Card Sound Road. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase across Metro Broward and Dade once again late this afternoon most likely after 5 PM EST. All activity will be moving northeast at about 20 miles an hour.
