Statement as of 5:41 AM CST on February 09, 2010
... Red flag warning in effect from 11 am to 6 PM CST Wednesday...
The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a red flag
warning... which is in effect from 11 am to 6 PM CST Wednesday.
The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
Lowest afternoon humidity on Wednesday expected to be around 25
percent across the west Florida Panhandle with a moderate northwest wind.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly.
A combination of low relative humidity and dry grasses will create
rapid fire growth potential.
