Statement as of 11:18 PM EST on November 10, 2009 The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a * Flood Warning for the Apalachicola River near Blountstown. * From late Wednesday night to late Thursday night... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 8:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 8.6 feet. * Minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet. * Forecast... rise above flood stage by Thursday morning and continue to rise to near 16.5 feet by Thursday early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage by Thursday evening. * Impact... at 15.0 feet... minor lowland flooding begins. This level is the top of the bank at the Marina.
