The National Weather Service in Miami has issued an
* urban flood advisory for... east central Palm Beach County in Southeast Florida... this includes the cities of... Delray Beach... Boynton Beach...
* until 830 PM EDT
* at 626 PM EDT Doppler radar indicated very slow moving thunderstorms between Lake Worth and Delray Beach. Radar estimates over 2 inches of rain has fallen and possibly another inch may fall.
Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground.
A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
