Nowcast | as of 10:06 PM EST on March 1, 2015

Fog continues to spread inland across Volusia County this evening...now reaching into Seminole...northern Brevard...and Eastern Lake counties. Widespread visibilities in this area are around 1 to 2 miles...with local visibilities down to 1/4 mile or less especially along the fog bank's leading edge. This fog bank will continue to spread south and west into the remainder of the Orlando Metro through the late evening and overnight hours. Conditions will be favorable for fog development across the remainder of east central Florida as well. Locally dense conditions will be possible overnight...and especially around daybreak Monday morning. Visibilities may drop to several hundred feet in some locations at times. Fog...especially as it begins to set in...will cause rapid visibilities changes within a short distance making driving hazardous. If you're out driving tonight...slow down...use your low beam headlights and be sure to leave plenty of distance between you and the car in front of you.
