Statement as of 9:13 PM EDT on July 03, 2009
The Flood Warning continues for
the Little Manatee River at Wimauma
* until Saturday evening
* at 08pm Friday the stage was 13.1 feet
* minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast
* flood stage is 11 feet
* the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by tomorrow afternoon.
* Impact... at 13 feet... the canoe rental area floods
* flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 14.6 feet on Sep 28
2004.
