... Fort Pierce NOAA Weather Radio is out of service...

The Fort Pierce NOAA Weather Radio transmitter wwf-69 operating on
a frequency of 162.425 megahertz is out of service. Technicians have
been notified and the radio will be returned to service as soon as
possible.

This transmitter serves Indian River... Saint Lucie... Martin
and Okeechobee counties.

While normal broadcasts are interrupted... the National Weather
Service in Melbourne suggests that NOAA Weather Radio listeners in
these counties tune to their local media outlets for the latest
National Weather Service watches... warnings and statements. Official
National Weather Service information is also available at the
