... Hard freeze watch remains in effect from this evening through
Monday morning...

* temperature... low temperatures in the lower to mid 20s.

* Impacts... freezing temperatures will kill sensitive vegetation
that is not protected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A hard freeze watch means that temperatures less than 27 degrees
are possible for at least 2 hours. Precautions may be required to
protect plants... pets and those sensitive to the cold if a hard
freeze warning is issued.

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 7 PM EST this evening
for gusty winds... low humidity and elevated erc values for
northeast Florida...

At 654 am the temperature at Jacksonville International Airport fell
to 24 degrees. This breaks the previous record of 26 set in 1981.
