Coastal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 3:32 AM EST on November 15, 2009
... Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 11 am EST this
morning...
A coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 11 am EST this
morning.
The water levels remain elevated, however a gradual downward trend
is expected. Despite this, the elevated nature of the water levels
will cause minor tidal flooding with this mornings high tide along
the coast and up Delaware Bay. High tide occurs an hour or two later
along the back bays.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A coastal Flood Advisory indicates that elevated water levels will
generate minor tidal flooding of low areas along the shore during
high tide. Do not drive through flooded roadways, as the water may
be deeper than you think it is.
